Two brief papers about borehole temperatures in glaciers. The first of which is in regard to the steady temperatures in an idealized glacier
and the other concerns why boreholes in glaciers provide a more accurate recovery of past temperature than does
a borehole in soil. The other describes the propagation of boundary temperature to depth in soil by thermal diffusion and what this may tell
us about climate, past and present.
